Contact form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the contact form will be stored in order to process the request and in case of follow-up questions. We will not share this information without your consent.

The processing of the data entered into the contact form is therefore exclusively based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. An informal message by email to us is sufficient. The lawfulness of processing personal data carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The information you provide in the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, until you revoke your consent for storing your data or until the purpose for data storage is no longer given (e.g.: after your request has been processed). Registration on this website

With your registration on our website we collect personal data. Furthermore, we store data to a certain extent that is collected during the use of our website, but in anonymised or pseudonymised form. After a job (test assignment) has been carried out, the information you provide is also stored electronically on our servers so that the data can only be retrieved for the corresponding job advertised by the company. These data are not processed and used by us in any other way.

User data

We collect and process personal data when you register on our website. In order to be able to include you in our order placement process, we ask you for the following data:

  • Salutation, first name, surname
  • Language
  • Address including country
  • Your operational radius, within which you are prepared to take on test assignments
  • Phone number
  • E-mail address
  • Date of birth
  • Geolocation

After your registration you will receive a user name and an electronic password, which you will replace with a password of your choice when you log in for the first time (this password is at no time visible in plain text).

The aforementioned data is your user data. We need the user's inventory data in order to manage the tester accounts and to contact the users, if necessary. Due to the special technical possibilities offered by the web services and the increased potential for abuse, a clear identification of the user is necessary.

We collect, process and use personal data only insofar as they are necessary for the establishment, content or modification of the legal relationship (inventory data). This is done on the basis of Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO, which allows the processing of data to fulfill a contract or precontractual measures. We collect, process and use personal data based on the usage from our website (usage data) only if necessary in order to enable or charge our users for the use of the service.

The collected customer data will be deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. Legal retention periods remain unaffected.

Data collected in questionnaires

Depending on the test scenario, personal data may be asked for in questionnaires during the execution of test assignments. We treat this data with the utmost confidentiality. They are used exclusively to fulfill the test assignment and are only used for this purpose. Your test results and the data they contain are passed on to the commissioning third party (customer) in pseudonymised form and are not combined with user data.


We only share personally identifiable information with third parties,

  • If the third party has advertised jobs and you have explicitly applied for this specific job,
  • if and to the extent necessary for the execution of the contractual relationship with you or for the enforcement of our claims and rights,
  • if there are requests from public authorities, in particular law enforcement and supervisory authorities, and the disclosure is required to avert threats to public safety and order and the prosecution of criminal offenses, and / or
  • if we are otherwise legally required to do so


On written request, we will inform you at any time about which personal data about you is stored with us. You still have the opportunity at any time to have the data of your tester account and thus your personal data blocked or deleted by us. This can also be initiated online on your tester account.

Data, which we need for the completion of outstanding tasks or for the enforcement of our rights and claims, as well as data, which we must keep after legal measure, is excluded.

If you delete your tester profile, your information will be available during a job (test order), but will be anonymised.

SSL or TLS encryption

This site uses, for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests that you send to us as a site operator, an SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by changing the address line of the browser from "http: //" to "https: //" and the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is enabled, the data you submit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Google Ads and Google Conversion Tracking

AdWords is an online advertising program. As part of Google Ads, we use the so-called conversion tracking. When you click on an ad served by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is set. Cookies are small text files that the Internet browser stores on the user's computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for the personal identification of the users. Google Web Fonts

This site uses so-called web fonts, provided by Google, for the uniform representation of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.

To do this, the browser you use must connect to Google's servers. As a result, Google learns that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a consistent and attractive presentation of our online services. The use of the Checkster App requires a registration on www.testernews. The privacy policy for the use of can be found in the preceding part of this statement.

Deletion of data stored in the App:

Uninstalling the Checkster App will delete all data stored by the App on your device. The inventory data belonging to your tester account on remains unaffected. You can initiate the deletion of this data yourself at any time in your account or request us to delete it in writing.

Data processed by the Checkster App:

When you use the App, the profile data that you have stored in your profile on is transmitted to the App in encrypted form and processed. The Checkster App only transmits encrypted data to Checkstone Servers.

To verify the validity of the user login, Checkster App sends an anonymous user ID to the server and treats it like a session cookie as described above.

When transferring questionnaires and questionnaire content, the IP address of your device is transmitted to Checkstone Server and stored there. The storage is subject to the above mentioned deletion periods.

Distribution via Google Playstore and Apple Appstore

You can get the app from the Google Playstore or the Apple Appstore, depending on the operating system of your mobile device. Both services are usually hard-coded into the operating system of your device. Use of the operating systems and stores is subject to the respective Google and Apple privacy policies.

Transfer of data to third parties

The Checkster App itself transmits data exclusively to Checkstone Server. The data collected in the questionnaire will be passed on to the client in a pseudonymised form and will also be treated by them in compliance with the data protection laws.


We use technical and organizational security measures to ensure that the personal data of our users are protected against loss, incorrect changes or unauthorized access by third parties. In any case, only authorized persons have access to your personal data from our side, and only to the extent that it is necessary for the purposes mentioned above.
